Up to 20 years my interest in sailing activities was normal for those who like sports, until I acquired my first windsurfing equipment.
In 1999, while working in Tavira in charge of the Nautical Centre of Barril beach, the interest to learn more and develop my technique in the sport, as well as the interest for its teaching.
In 2000, completes the academic training of Sport Sciences in the Faculty of Human Kinetics, having devoted myself full time to teaching the sport.
In the same year, in addition to the limit, I prepared a draft for the opening of a Sailing Centre on the beach of Faro, which I become responsible, being also an instructor of windsurfing in it.
In April 2001, I joined the project Superwind as the technical Windsurfing Club, having taught some 5,000 students during the years that I stayed there.
On May 1, 2006 elisiario.com started the project in helping a growing number of practitioners of the sport growing, mainly devoted myself to teaching a more personalized and organization of events.
In competition, I have participated in several unofficial events, the slalom mode, and officials in the form of waves (P18), obtained from the 8th place in the national ranking of waves in 2006 and 5th in 2007.
I have also a Certified Trainer Windsurfing Sailing (Level 2) Federação Portuguesa de Vela.
As a coach I am certified by the IDP (the Sports Institute of Portugal) that certify that I possess skills needed to guide and lead the exercise of physical and sporting activities, as stipulated in Decree-Law No. 271/2009 of 1 October .
